2 March 2026 - General Updates

When I first started sharing my story, publishing my raw chronologies, and releasing my music, my goal was simple: I wanted to be the exact person I needed when I was younger.

I’ve always believed in radical transparency. I put my real name, my face, and my unfiltered experiences out into the world because lived experience is the most powerful tool we have. It proves to care-experienced young people that survival is possible, and it gives professionals the raw truth they need to actually understand the system.

But over the last year, things have started to shift. Looked After Child Limited has grown beyond just a blog—we are actively building the infrastructure to transition into a permanent Community Interest Company (CIC) by 2028. And as my own professional career evolves, I am stepping into new, more direct avenues of mentoring and advocacy.

With that growth comes a massive shift in responsibility.

When you work closely with vulnerable young people, creating a secure, hidden safe haven for them is the absolute priority. In today’s digital landscape, a huge part of that is digital safeguarding.

Because my advocacy has been so public, my digital footprint is extensive. To ensure absolute privacy for the young people I work with, to comply with the UK Online Safety Act, and to eliminate any risk of sensitive details creating a “digital jigsaw” for malicious actors, I have to be proactive.

For those who have been following my journey closely, you’ll understand why this level of privacy and protection is becoming absolutely essential for the next steps I am taking in my career.

So, I am changing how my story is accessed.

Welcome to The Lived Experience Vault

I am not deleting my story, but I am building a safehouse for it.

Starting today, all of my deeply personal content—the raw chronologies, the detailed life-story reports, and my album—is being migrated off the public internet. It is moving to a secure, gated, password-protected environment on my personal site called The Lived Experience Vault (liharris.com/vault).

By putting my most sensitive history behind a vetted login, I can ensure my story remains fully accessible to the mature care leavers, parents, and professionals who actually draw strength and insight from it, while completely neutralizing any public safeguarding risks. It shields children who shouldn’t have unrestricted access to mature themes, and it protects the privacy of my network.

Looked After Child Limited’s core advocacy will remain entirely public. Our knowledge base, our resources, and our fight to change the system are staying exactly where they are. We are simply separating the public mission from the personal history.

What Happens Next?

The infrastructure for The Vault is currently being built, so my personal chronologies and music will be temporarily offline. You can head over to liharris.com/vault right now to join the waitlist, and I’ll let you know the moment the doors open.

Advocacy and safeguarding don’t have to be at odds; they are the foundation of growing up and building something that actually lasts.

Thank you for being on this journey with me. The next chapter is going to be our best one yet.
