At Looked After Child Limited, we believe that lived experience is the most powerful tool for transforming the UK care sector. However, as our platform grows and we prepare for our transition into a Community Interest Company (CIC) by 2028, we must ensure that our digital infrastructure reflects the absolute highest standards of online safety.

Why We Are Building The Vault

In today’s digital landscape, the growing availability of sensitive content presents a complex challenge. Our founder’s raw chronologies, detailed life-story reports, and music deal explicitly with the harsh realities of the care system, trauma, and survival.

Shielding vulnerable children from unrestricted access to these mature themes—and mitigating public “digital jigsaw” risks that could compromise physical privacy—is our paramount duty. In strict alignment with the UK Online Safety Act, we are migrating this deeply personal content off our public platform and building a secure sanctuary for it.

What to Expect When The Vault Opens

The Lived Experience Vault is being custom-built for a specific, mature audience: care leavers seeking true solidarity, and foster parents/social care professionals requiring unfiltered insights to elevate their practice.

Once development is complete and the doors open, approved members will have secure access to:

• The Raw Chronologies: Uncensored, deep-dive reports from our founder, Li Jean-Luc Harris, detailing the reality of navigating residential care, family breakdown, and the system from the inside.

• The Music & Creative Media: Exclusive access to Li Jean-Luc’s recently released album and creative projects that translate the emotional weight of the care experience into art.

• Granular Practice Insights: “Behind-the-behavior” breakdowns and trauma-informed training materials designed to challenge standard social work paradigms.

By placing this highly personal media behind a vetted login, we ensure that children are shielded, privacy is protected, and professionals have a safe, uncompromising environment to learn.

Development Status: Infrastructure in Progress

Building a secure, compliant, and user-friendly portal takes careful planning. There is currently no set date for The Vault to open. During this transitional period, all personal chronologies and the album will remain temporarily unavailable to the public as we finalize the new architecture.
